Wave Summary Report

Purpose: Use this report to review the waves generated during the pick slip generation run.

How to print: The system prints this report when you generate pick slips if you are Using Wave Picking. See Using Wave Picking for an overview of the wave picking process.

Note:

• The system generates a blank report if there are no pick slips to generate during the pick slip generation run.

• If you generate pick slips using a pick slip generation template that does not have any wave options defined (you never enter 8 next to the pick slip generation template), the Wave type on this report remains blank. In this situation, the system generates one wave for all of the pick slips generated in the pick slip generation run.

• If you generate pick slips using a pick slip generation template that does not have a # of lanes and # of bins defined for any of the wave types, the system can only generate one wave for each selected wave type.

The report page breaks by warehouse; for each warehouse, the report sorts in wave number sequence.

Contents:

• Warehouse: The warehouse where the stock is located.

• Wave type: The type of wave generated during the pick slip generation run. Valid wave types are:

• Special Handling Single

• Special Handling Multi

• Express Single

• Express Multi

• International Single

• International Multi

• Single Line

• Multi Line

Note: The Wave type remains blank if you generate pick slips for a pick slip generation template that does not have any wave options defined (you never enter 8 next to the pick slip generation template). In this situation, the system generates one wave for all of the pick slips generated in the pick slip generation run.

• For each wave type:

• Wave #: The wave number (billing batch number) assigned to the wave.

• # of picks: The number of pick slips included in the wave.

• # of units: The number of units of stock included in the wave.

• Pick amount: The dollar amount for the pick included in the wave.

• Total # of waves: The total number of waves generated for the pick slip generation run.

• Average units per pick: The average number of units of stock included on each pick slip in a wave.

• Total # of picks: The total number of pick slips generated for the pick slip generation run.

• Total # of pick labels: The total number of Pick Wave Labels generated for the pick slip generation run.
