The user segment sharing feature allows a content administrator to choose a user segment that has been defined in the Business Control Center as a trigger for a cartridge in Experience Manager. When configuring the user segment sharing feature, you must specify an Oracle Commerce Platform server to act as the user segment server. This server responds to Workbench requests for the list of user segments defined in the Business Control Center. This call must be secure to prevent unwanted access to the user segment data. By default, user segment security is enabled by the /atg/rest/security/RequestCredentialAccessController component. However, you must add security credentials to both the user segment server and the Workbench to complete the security configuration.
