Video Configuration Preferences

Your video linking configuration and preferences are inherited from Project Defaults as set by the administrator. You can modify User Preferences for the local paths to the executable files of the video viewers used when executing video links and the seconds before and after defaults.

Notes:

This function is limited to users with video linking privileges. These preferences are only applied to the individual user.
The check box next to Credentials prompt can only be selected or de-selected by an Administrator user. If selected, it activates a video vendor user ID/Password prompt when the user accesses video linking. If this prompt is activated, the user must enter login credentials when they access video linking during their XBRi session. During an active XBRi session, the user will only need to enter the credentials once.

To set video linking user preferences:

From the Admin menu, choose User Preferences.
Under Settings, click Video Configuration.
Edit the Path for the Video Vendor if necessary. This sets the local path to the video viewer used when executing a video link. This may be necessary if, for example, you have a different drive mapping than the project default.
Change the number of Seconds Before or Seconds After defaults if necessary. This determines the default number of seconds before and after the transaction time when generating the start and end times in the Video Queue.
