Modifying, duplicating, and deleting visualizations

Steps

Change the visualization's display type

1. Click the name of the quick dashboard to run it.

2. Hover the cursor over the visualization, then click the arrow icon on the top right. A list of options is displayed. Select Change Visualization. The Change Visualization dialog box is displayed, with an icon displayed next to the visualization recommended based on the data in your quick dashboard. The icons of visualizations that cannot be created using the report objects in the quick dashboard's dataset (or using the report objects you selected, if you are creating a visualization using a specific group of report objects) are displayed in grey. You can hover the cursor over a visualization's icon to view information about the visualization's dataset requirements.

3. Click the icon of the visualization you want to use to display your data. The visualization is automatically created and added using the report objects in your quick dashboard.
   
   Some visualizations can be displayed using different subtypes. For example, if you want to represent your data as a bar graph, you can choose to display it as a vertical bar graph or a horizontal bar graph. Click the icon of the visualization you want to create, then click the icon for the subtype you want to use to display your data. Duplicate a visualization

1. Click the name of the quick dashboard to run it.

2. Hover the cursor over the visualization you want to copy, then click the arrow icon on the right. A list of options is displayed.

3. Point to Copy To, then select the panel to which you want to copy the visualization. The new visualization is automatically added to the quick dashboard.

Move a visualization

1. Click the name of the quick dashboard to run it.

2. Hover the cursor over the visualization you want to move, then click the arrow icon on the right. A list of options is displayed.

3. Point to Move To, then select the panel to which you want to move the visualization. The new visualization is automatically moved to the selected tab.

Delete a visualization from a quick dashboard

1. Click the name of the quick dashboard to run it.

2. Hover the cursor over the tab of the visualization you want to delete, then click the arrow icon on the right. A list of options is displayed.

3. Select Delete. A message is displayed, asking if you want to delete the visualization.

4. Click OK. The visualization is removed from the quick dashboard.

Display a visualization's title bar

1. Click the name of the quick dashboard to run it.

2. Hover the cursor over the visualization, then click the arrow icon on the right. A list of options is displayed. Select one of the following:

   • To display the title bar, select Show Title Bar.

   • To display the visualization without a title bar, select Hide Title Bar.
