When you import data from a file, such as an Excel spreadsheet, you can specify the location of the file using the Select a File page. For full steps to import data from a file, see Importing data from a file. You can provide the location of the file using the following methods:
Select a file on your computer or network
Specify the location of your file using an http, https, or ftp URL, or a UNC path. Before you can import data from a file by providing a URL link or UNC path, your administrator must first enable importing data from a URL link or UNC path. For examples of URLs and UNC paths that you can use to import data, see Importing data from a file.

You must have Adobe Flash Player to import data from a file. For specific version requirements, see the release notes for your version of XBRi
You must have Import Data privileges.
Do one of the following:
To import data from a file on your computer or network, select the From My Computer/Network option. Click Browse. The Select a File to Upload dialog box is displayed. Browse to and select a file to import, then click Open.
To
import data from a file using a URL or a UNC path, select the From the URL option, then type the
location of the file in the field below.
Note: If the From the URL option
is not available, contact your Administrator to make sure importing
reports from a URL link or UNC path has been enabled.
Click Next. A preview of the imported data is displayed on the Preview page.
