What's New in Oracle Migration Tool On Demand Guide, Release 32

Table 1 lists the changes that were made in this version of the documentation to support Release 32 of the software.

Additional Changes

This book also contains the following changes:

• Privileges for Administrators. The text introducing the table of privileges, and the title of the table, have been updated to clarify that the table shows the privilege that are required for customizing configuration data.
• Privileges for Nonadministrative Users. The text introducing the table of privileges, and the title of the table, have been updated to clarify that the table shows the features and commands that the Enable Web Services Access privilege enables for users who do not have other administrator privileges.
• Elements and Sections in the Field Management XML Output File. Descriptions of the following elements have been added to Table 13: <Optimized>, <DenormalizedControl>, <DenormalizedAssociateControlName>, and <DenormalizedControlName>. In addition, Table 13 has been reorganized.
• Elements and Sections in the Picklist XML Output File. The description of the <data:ListOfFieldTranslations> element has been removed from Table 15, because this element does not appear in the picklist XML output file.
• Privileges Required for Migrating Action Bar Layouts. The text has been corrected to show that the Customize Application privilege as well as the Enable Web Services Access privilege is required for the Read and ReadAll commands.
• Privileges Required for Migrating Custom Web Link Fields. The text has been corrected to show that the Customize Application privilege as well as the Enable Web Services Access privilege is required for the Read and ReadAll commands.
• Privileges Required for Migrating Homepage Layouts. The text has been corrected to show that the Customize Application privilege as well as the Enable Web Services Access privilege is required for the Read and ReadAll commands.
• Privileges Required for Migrating Sales Assessment Templates. The text has been corrected to show that the Manage Assessments Access and Manage Content privileges as well as the Enable Web Services Access privilege are required for the Read and ReadAll commands.
• Replicating All Configuration Data from a Source Environment to a Target Environment. In Step 4, the commands have been reorganized to reflect the recommended sequence for migrating configuration data, based on dependencies between features.
• Replicating Selective Configuration Data from a Source Environment to a Target Environment. In Step 6, the commands have been reorganized to reflect the recommended sequence for migrating configuration data, based on dependencies between features.
• Appendix A Reference Information for Oracle Migration Tool On Demand client. This appendix has been replaced by the following appendices:

  • Access Objects
  • Classic and Modern Theme Icons
  • System Names for Record Types
  • Homepage Section Layout Mapping
  • Privilege IDs and Names
  • Child Applet IDs and Names

    In addition, the tables have been updated to include some information that was previously omitted.
