When a project is locked, no direct changes can be made to the project. For example, project team members cannot update their status or finance analysts cannot update project budget. Project managers can lock an active project if they do not want any changes to be made to the project. Projects that are complete can also be locked to prevent further updates from being made. The project lock status is displayed on the project Import/Export page. If a project is On-Hold, you can only perform a Read-Only Export.
