Reassigning a Team Member

When you reassign a team member, the current team member becomes inactive and the new team member becomes active. Inactive team member can maintain their existing timesheet and activity data, but cannot be associated with future timesheets or activities. Inactive team members are also removed from the project pool.

Reassigned team members become inactive and can be reactivated from the Resource Listing page by filtering for inactive team members.

Notes:

To reassign a project team member:

  1. Navigate to the Project Resources page by selecting (Project #)> Go To> Resources > Listing or by clicking the Resources link on the Left Navigation Bar within a particular project. The Project Resources page is displayed.
  2. Select a project role. From the Actions menu, select Reassign Team Member.
  3. Select a new team member.
  4. For each activity associated with the current team member, you can select who the activity should be reassigned to.
  5. Click Reassign Team Member.
