7 Oracle Healthcare Foundation Self-Service Analytics

This chapter describes how to install Oracle Healthcare Foundation Self-Service Analytics. It contains the following sections:

7.1 Installation Overview

Oracle Healthcare Foundation Self-Service Analytics is available in the OHF_V701_Linux-x64.zip file of the media pack.

The following is the structure of the Self-Service Analytics package:

obieeIds.csv

oh7.0_ssa_hcd.rpd

/software

oh_7.0_at_rpd.zip

It consists of the following components:

Self-Service Analytics Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) RPD file for the Healthcare Common Data Mart, which is used for Self-Service Business Intelligence.
Self-Service Analytics tool, to generate an OBIEE RPD file for data marts built using the Healthcare Common Data Mart.

The following is the prerequisite for Self-Service Analytics:

To install the Oracle Healthcare Foundation Self-Service Analytics, perform the following steps:

Navigate to the selfserviceanalytics folder in the media pack.
Open the RPD file, oh7.0_ssa_hcd.rpd, available in the selfserviceanalytics\hcd_rpd folder using the Oracle Business Intelligence Developer Client Tools 11.1.1.9.0, and update the connection pool to point to the HCD.
Save the oh7.0_ssa_hcd.rpd file and deploy it on the OBIEE server for analytics and reporting.

Create a folder OH_SSA_HOME in a preferred drive on a Windows machine.
Copy the oh_7.0_at_rpd.zip file available in the selfserviceanalytics\software folder to the OH_SSA_HOME folder.
Extract the contents of oh_7.0_at_rpd.zip file in the OH_SSA_HOME folder.

The Self-Service Analytics tool is now available in the OH_SSA_HOME\oh_7.0_at_rpd folder.
