About Oracle Tuxedo Mainframe Adapter for SNA 12c Release 2 (12.2.2)
Oracle Tuxedo Mainframe Adapter for SNA is a domain-based product that provides bi-directional connectivity between Oracle Tuxedo clients or servers, and mainframe applications. Mainframe applications may use Customer Information Control System/Extended System Architecture (CICS TS) and Information Management System (IMS) implicit LU6.2, or any IBM-supported Application Program-to-Program Communication (APPC) or CICS TS interface.
New Product Features
The following new features are available in version 12c Release 2 (12.2.2) of the Oracle Tuxedo Mainframe Adapter for SNA product:
This feature allows you to establish SSL encryption between the Communication Resource Manager (CRM) and the Gateway (GWSNAX) over a distributed network. Both parties negotiate to choose the most strict cipher suits for encryption. 256-bit, 128-bit, 112-bit, 40-bit, and 56-bit SSL ciphers are supported.

This feature consolidates and simplifies the control for TMA trace, improves the readability of trace messages and logs, and enriches TMA trace with more translation related information, statistical information, and debugging information.

Installation Notes
Oracle Tuxedo Mainframe Adapter for SNA 12c Release 2 (12.2.2) is supported for the following Oracle Tuxedo releases:
