Oracle recommends that you use the same release version of Oracle VM Manager and Oracle VM Server. This section is applicable to Exalytics X2-4, X3-4 and X4-4 servers only.

5.3.1 Upgrading Oracle VM Server 3.0.3 (Base Image 2.0.1.1) or Later Version to Oracle VM Server 3.3.3

If you are a new or existing customer running Oracle VM Server 3.0.3 or later version, you must upgrade to Oracle VM Server 3.3.3. For instructions, see Upgrading Oracle VM Server 3.0.3 (Base Image 2.0.1.1) or Later Version to Oracle VM Server 3.3.3.

5.3.2 Upgrading Oracle VM Manager 3.0.3 or Later Version to Oracle VM Manager 3.3.3

Note:

If you have already installed Oracle VM Manager 3.3.3, you can ignore this section.
