Domain partitions are an administrative and runtime slice of a WebLogic domain that is dedicated to running application instances and related resources for a tenant.
This page summarizes the domain partitions that have been configured in the current WebLogic Server domain.
Use this page to create, delete, import, or export partitions.
Column Display
You can show fewer or additional data points on this page by expanding Customize this table and modifying the Column Display list. Each data point displays in its own table column.
The following table lists all of the data points that you can display in columns on this page.
Name Description Name The name that you specified when you created the domain partition.
Resource Groups All the resource groups in this partition.
MBean Attribute:
PartitionMBean.ResourceGroupsRealm The security realm for this partition.
MBean Attribute:
PartitionMBean.RealmDefault Target(s) A list of default targets for the partition (if any).
MBean Attribute:
PartitionMBean.DefaultTargetspartition ID The ID for this partition.
MBean Attribute:
PartitionMBean.PartitionIDChanges take effect after you redeploy the module or restart the server.
Notes Optional information that you can include to describe this configuration.
WebLogic Server saves this note in the domain's configuration file (
config.xml) as XML PCDATA. All left angle brackets (<) are converted to the XML entity<. Carriage returns/line feeds are preserved.Note: If you create or edit a note from the Administration Console, the Administration Console does not preserve carriage returns/line feeds.

PartitionMBean.NotesState File System Root The full path to the root of this file subsystem of the partition.
MBean Attribute:
PartitionFileSystemMBean.RootPreserved Specifies whether the file system should be preserved when the partition is deleted.
MBean Attribute:
PartitionFileSystemMBean.PreservedCreateOnDemand Specifies whether the file system should be created on-demand when the partition is first started.
