FileExt

Use this function to get the extension component of a file name.

Syntax

FileExt (FullFileName)

The system returns a string that contains the extension component of that file name.

Example

Here is an example:

MYEXT = FileExt("d:\mypath\myfile.ext")

In this example MYEXT would contain:

".ext"
