Creating a Workflow Policy
This task is a step in Process of Automating a Business Process. In this topic you create a workflow policy that calls the workflow process. A workflow policy includes a condition and an action. In this example, the condition is met when Assignment Manager assigns an opportunity. The action calls the workflow process you defined in Creating and Deploying a Workflow Process. To create a workflow policy
- Create a workflow policy action:
- Navigate to the Administration - Business Process screen, and then the Actions view.
- In the Actions list, add a new record using values from the following table.

- Create a workflow policy condition:
- Click the Policies link.
- In the Policies list, click New, and then enter a new record using values from the following table.

- Click the select button in the Group field.
- In the Workflow Groups dialog box, click New.
- Specify NREC in the Name field.
- Click Save and then click OK.
