This task is a step in Process of Managing Siebel Quality. Process Flow for Verifying Change Request ClosuresAfter engineers resolve change requests (CRs), the CR creator attempts to verify the resolutions. Figure 29 shows the process flow for the tasks in verification. More information about the tasks in this process follows:
Querying for Closed Change RequestsThe change request (CR) creator queries for closed CRs in a functional area. To query for closed change requests
Reopening Change RequestsThe change request (CR) creator tries to verify the resolution on the version that the engineer identifies. If the creator determines that the issue is not resolved, then the creator reopens the CR. Reopening the CR sends it back to the engineer for further review.
Closing Change Requests as VerifiedIf the creator determines that the change request (CR) is correctly resolved, then the creator closes out the CR as verified. At this point, the CR life cycle is complete. To close a change request as verified
