The following description of the ldmd/pm_enabled is missing from the ldmd(1M) man page:
Enables or disables Power Management (PM) at ldmd startup. The default value is false, which means that PM is disabled.
In addition, when you set the ldmd/pm_enabled property value to false, the PM Observability Module functionality is also disabled at ldmd startup. This functionality is disabled regardless of the ldmd/pm_observability_enabled SMF property value.
The following paragraph is added to the Description section of the ldmpower(1M) man page:
When the ldmd/pm_enabled SMF property is set to false, which is the default value, running the ldmpower command fails with the following error:
primary# ldmpower Failed to connect to the ldmpower server: Connection refused
