License Usage Overview

Licenses control project creation and user access in Oracle Primavera Cloud. Three license models are available to best fit the needs of your organization.

The three license models include:

Project: In this license model, you contract for a single project which can be accessed by an unlimited number of users. This contracted project is created in the production workspace. In addition, you also get access to a non-production project which can be used for testing. You can create additional projects, or import P6 XML or Microsoft Project projects to support your contracted project. You can rename or delete the additional projects you created, but you cannot rename or delete the contracted project.
Named User: In the Named User license model, you can create an unlimited number of projects for a limited number of users. Additional user licenses can be purchased by contacting your Oracle sales representative.
Enterprise: In the Enterprise License model, you can create an unlimited number of projects for an unlimited number of users. There are two enterprise license models, Enterprise Schedule and Enterprise Portfolio Planning.

If your organization has purchased a Named User license model, you will be able to access the License Usage page to view license usage and assign available licenses to users. You should monitor the License Usage page to ensure your company is compliant with the number of licenses they have purchased. Organizations with the Project or Enterprise license models do not need access to the License Usage page because all users are automatically assigned all licenses provided in the license model.
