Export P6 EPPM Project Data to P6 XML
Export your P6 EPPM projects and project data to a P6 XML file for use in Oracle Primavera Cloud. After the file is created, you can download it from the P6 EPPM web application and import it into Primavera Cloud.
To export P6 EPPM projects to P6 XML:
- In P6 EPPM, select Projects.
- On the Projects navigation bar, select EPS.
- On the EPS page, select the Actions menu, and then select Import/Export Projects.
- In the Import/Export Projects dialog box, select the Export tab.
- In the Export Type field, select Primavera XML.
- Select Add Project....
- In the Select Project dialog box, select one or more projects that you want to export, and then select Select.
- In the Import/Export Projects dialog box, review the list of selected projects and remove any that you do not want to export.
Note: The Import/Export Projects dialog box contains the option to include project baselines in the export.
- Select Export.
The export job is submitted.
Tips
- You can view the status of the export in the View Service Status dialog box.
- You can download the completed P6 XML file in the View Service Status dialog box or Notifications dialog box.
- The P6 XML file name reflects the name of the project you exported or the first project in the list if you exported multiple projects.
