Reopen an Idea

You can reopen a rejected idea for reevaluation. Rejected ideas must be reopened before they can be processed further.

To reopen a rejected idea:

In the object selector, select an idea.
In the sidebar, select  Home.
Select the Action  menu, and then select Reopen.
(Optional) In the Reopen dialog box, complete the following fields:
- Reason: A justification for reopening the idea.
- Notify Users: One or more users to notify upon reopening the idea.
- Comment: A short description or note that will be sent to notified users.
Select Reopen.
Note: The status of the idea is automatically changed to Owner Assigned upon reopening.

Tips

You can also reopen an idea using the  Context menu on the Idea List page.
