Update the Work Package Dates

As work is performed on the project, update work package dates to reflect the progress.

Note: Dates cannot be updated if the work package is linked to an activity.

To update work package dates:

  1. In the object selector, select a project.
  2. In the sidebar, hover over Scope, and select Work Packages.
  3. Configure the view to display the dates for updating.

    For example, in the early stages, you may choose to view Original Start, Original Finish, Planned Start, and Planned Finish. As the project progresses, you may be more concerned with Baseline, Revised, Installed, and Remaining dates as they will reflect the progress of the work package.

  4. In a date column, select the date.
  5. Select Save.
