View the Summary Cost Sheet for a Program

The Summary Cost Sheet page displays the total costs and hours for all projects added to the program. By having aggregated and detailed project cost information in a single repository, you can easily analyze cost trends and quickly identify any problem areas for all of your projects in the program. All users have access to view the Summary Cost Sheet, but users will only see costs and hours associated with projects for which they have the required security privileges. You can view the Program Summary Cost Sheet by project or by CBS codes.

The By Projects view includes all projects in the program even if no CBS code is present on the project. This view displays projects in a flat list and all cost are aggregated into a single line.

The By CBS Codes view includes all projects in a program that match the CBS code structure on the workspace. If a project does not have a CBS code, or if it does not match the CBS code structure on the workspace, then the project does not appear in this view. This view displays the CBS code hierarchy and the codes where the cost information aggregated from the projects are available. Each parent level CBS code displays an aggregate summary of its child codes. Only the codes that contain cost information and their parent CBS code are visible on this page. CBS codes without cost information are not shown.

Note: Users must setup the CBS for the program before the cost information is rolled into the program.

Users who do not have access to a particular project will not see its cost information; however, the totals on the summary line will include all projects. Additionally, the users who do not have access to view the cost information on the program will not be able to see its financial amounts.
