Export a Baseline

Export project baselines from Primavera Cloud to a single P6 XML file. You must have the required global privilege to use the export functionality.

To export baselines to a P6 XML file:

Navigate to the Baselines page
1. In the object selector, select a project.
2. In the sidebar, hover over  Scope or  Schedule, and select Baselines.
Select Export to P6, or select the  Context menu next to a baseline, and then select Export P6 XML.
In the Export to P6 dialog box:
1. In the Select Baseline field, select a baseline.
  If you used the  Context menu, then the Select Baseline field is pre-populated with your selected baseline.
2. From the Export As drop-down list, select the file type for the exported file.
3. Select Export.
  Notes:
  - Primavera Cloud supports baselines and scenarios exported as part of their current schedule or individual projects in XML format. Baselines and scenarios can only be exported from Primavera Cloud as individual projects in XER format.
  - Project Baselines that are exported from the Projects Inventory page are exported with baseline categories included, if they have been assigned.
  - Baselines that are exported directly from a Baselines page or from the Manage Baselines dialog box are exported as projects, so there is no baseline or baseline category included.

Tips

You can also export baselines from the Activities page. Select the Actions  menu, and then select Manage Baselines. Select the  Context menu next to a baseline, and then select Export to P6 XML.
