Add a Project to a Portfolio
Projects are added to portfolios using filters. Projects added to a portfolio must belong to the same workspace as the portfolio or a child workspace. Projects can belong to multiple portfolios.
To add a project to a portfolio:
- In the object selector, select Portfolios, and then select View All Portfolios.
- In the table, select the portfolio.
- Select the Project List detail window.
- Select Edit Filter.
- In the Set Filter Criteria dialog box, select the criteria for including projects in the portfolio.
- Select Assign.
- Select Save.
- In the inventory panel, select Close.
Tips
- The project list can be manually refreshed by selecting Refresh Portfolio, or it can be set to refresh automatically. The list also updates when the filter is modified.
- If a project no longer meets the filter criteria, but is included in an approved portfolio budget plan, it will continue to be included in the project list for the portfolio.
You can also perform this task from the Summary & Settings panel for the object in Primavera Cloud:
- In the object selector, select a portfolio.
- In the sidebar, select Summary & Settings.
- On the Summary & Settings menu, select Details.
