Create a Budget

Depending on your budgeting needs, you should configure cost categories, units of measure, workspace CBS, and project or program CBS before you create a budget.

To create a budget:

  1. Select a Budget Source
  2. Edit the Budget Source

    You can edit your budget sources.

  3. Add a Manual Budget
  4. View the Scope Based Budget
  5. Submit a Budget for Approval

If you need to make changes to the manual budget after it is approved, you can complete one or more of the following tasks:

  1. Add a Budget Change
  2. Add a Budget Transfer
