What Email Notification Options Are Available to General Contractors or Construction Managers?
General Contractors and Construction Managers can change their own email notifications and those of their own company. Project Leaders can change email notifications for all project team members.
New Items Uploaded - You will receive notification of uploads by your Subcontractors/Contractors for Submittals/ Closeouts/RFI. You will receive email notices when something is uploaded to a posting only log.
Copy me on my Company Reviews - This will email you when anyone in your company uploads a reviewed item and sends it on to the Design Team.
Reviews Completed - This will send you a notification when the final review has been completed/posted on documents.
Reminders - This will send notifications once Expected Dates are set on Submittals/Closeout items. The dates are generally for your Subcontractors, but this will let you know which items are not getting submitted. This is based on the Required Item Turnaround date setting in the Preferences tab. This ensures you are aware there are items awaiting your review from the Subcontractor.
Note: General Contractors can take actions directly from the email notification by selecting the appropriate action button.
