International Peering with IWF and H.323 Calls
When you do not enable this feature, H.323 calls can default to a National Q.931 Number Type and it is not possible to change it to an International number. This feature allows you to override that behavior by configuring the option cpnType=X, where X is an integer that maps to various Q.931 Number Types. When this option is set, Q.931 Number Type for both calling party and called party are updated to the configured value for all outing calls on the h323-stack.
The following is a list of possible cpnType=X option values for X:
- 0—Unknown public number
- 1—International public number
- 2—National public number
- 3—Specific public network number
- 4—Public subscriber number
- 5—Public abbreviated number
- 6—Private abbreviated number
You configure this feature as an option in the h323-stack configuration.
