Creating Room Maintenance Codes

When the OPP_MHOT Multi-property add-on license code is active, room maintenance codes may be set up as templates, which can then be copied to multiple properties. To create a room maintenance code, do the following:

  1. From the OPERA Cloud Administration menu, select Inventory, select Accommodation Management, and then select Room Maintenance.

  2. On the Room Maintenance screen, click New. Enter the following information and click Save:

    • Code: Enter a unique code to identify the room maintenance request code.

    • Description: Enter an appropriate description for the Room Maintenance request - the description should ideally describe what the repair or room maintenance is about.

    • Sequence: Enter a number to determine the order in which room maintenance codes are displayed when listed. When two or more room maintenance have the same sequence number, they are displayed alphabetically.

    • Inactive: Select the check box to make the room maintenance request inactive. The inactive room maintenance requests are not available for selection when assigning them to rooms.

Modifying Room Maintenance Codes

To modify an existing room maintenance code in your property, do the following:

  1. From the OPERA Cloud Administration menu, select Inventory, select Accommodation Management, and then select Room Maintenance.

  2. Search and select the required room maintenance code that you want to modify and then click Actions. You can perform the following modifications:

    • Delete - Select Delete to delete the room maintenance code.

    • Edit - Select Edit to modify the room maintenance code description and Sequence and click Save.
