timerExpired

public abstract long timerExpired(AuthenticationPlatform authPlatform,
                                  String timer)

An authentication timer has expired. The authentication platform should handle this event by challenging the user in some form.

Parameters:

authPlatform - the AuthenticationPlatform instance that owns the expired timer.

timer - the name of the expired timer.

Returns:

the new length of the timer, or 0 if the timer was not renewed.
