Oracle CRM On Demand Documentation Library: Privileges for Oracle CRM On Demand Connected Mobile Sales

To work in Oracle CRM On Demand Connected Mobile Sales your account must have specific privileges enabled in Oracle CRM On Demand. Table 4 lists these privileges. Privileges are granted in Step 4 of Role Management. For information on granting privileges and user roles, see Oracle CRM On Demand Online Help.

Admin, User	Connected Mobile Sales Access	Desktop/Mobile	Enables users to connect to Oracle CRM On Demand from Oracle CRM On Demand Connected Mobile Sales on supported devices.
Admin	Connected Mobile Sales Application Composer Access	Desktop/Mobile	Enables access to the Application Composer.
Admin	Manage Connected Mobile Access	Desktop/Mobile	Users (usually administrators) who have been granted this privilege can grant the Connected Mobile Sales Access and Connected Mobile Sales Application Composer Access privileges to other roles.
Admin, User	Enable Web Services Access	Integration: Web services	The users' accounts must have this privilege enabled so they can send Web service requests.
User	Manage Addresses	CRM	Required for proximity searching on the user device.
User	Maps Integration	Integration: Maps	Required for proximity searching on the user device.

If the privileges in Table 4 are not available to you, contact Oracle Global Customer Support.

In addition to the privileges in Table 4, a user who wants to use proximity searching must also have the Address Location record type access (Step 2 in Role Management).

After changing access profile and role privileges, clear the Application Composer cache. For more information, see Clearing the Cache.
