Copying and Moving Reports

You can copy a report from one folder to another in two ways:

• By opening the report in the Build and View Analysis page in Oracle CRM On Demand Answers and then saving the report to another folder.

  NOTE: Use this method when you want to copy a report from My Folder to a shared folder.

• Using the Copy/Move feature in the Manage Analyses window in Oracle CRM On Demand Answers.

  NOTE: Do not use this method to copy a report from My Folder to a shared folder.

You can also use the Copy/Move feature in the Manage Analyses window in Oracle CRM On Demand Answers to move a report from one folder to another.

The following procedure describes how to copy a report from My Folder to a shared folder.

To copy a report from My Folder to a shared folder

1. In Oracle CRM On Demand, click the Reports tab.
2. On the Reports Homepage, in the Custom Reports and Analyses section, click Design Analyses to open Oracle CRM On Demand Answers.
3. In Oracle CRM On Demand Answers, click Open Analysis.
4. In the Open Analysis dialog box, navigate to the report that you want to share, select it, and click OK.
5. In the Build and View Analysis page, click Save.
6. In the Save Analysis dialog box, navigate to the folder to which you want to copy or move the report.
7. Click OK.

The following procedure describes how to copy or move a report from one folder to another.

To copy or move a report from one folder to another through the Manage Analyses window

1. In Oracle CRM On Demand, click the Reports tab.
2. On the Reports Homepage, in the Custom Reports and Analyses section, click Design Analyses to open Oracle CRM On Demand Answers.
3. In Oracle CRM On Demand Answers, click Manage Analyses.
4. In the Manage Analyses window, in the folder row, click Copy/Move.
5. In the report directory, select the folder to which you want to copy or move the report.
6. Click Copy or Move.
