Installing the RGPS add-on package to the R library

If you have R version 3.0.1 installed, you can optionally install the RGPS add-on package to enable Regression-adjusted Gamma Poisson Shrinker (RGPS) computations in Multi-item Gamma Poisson Shrinker (MGPS) data mining runs. For more information, see the User Guide and Online Help.

Perform the following steps to install RGPS.

Note: If you are upgrading from 8.1.0.1 and you have decided to use RGPS, perform this step to upgrade RGPS to the latest version.

The RGPS add-on package is included with the Empirica Signal installation files.

Perform these steps using the privileged user account on the application server.

In a command shell, navigate to the directory containing RGPS_8_1_0_2_XXX.tar.gz.
Execute the following command:
$ sudo R CMD INSTALL RGPS_8_1_0_2_XXX.tar.gz
