Activating Access Workflows for Distribution Exceptions
To generate access exceptions, you must activate two workflows, as shown in Table 7.

Literature Access Workflow |
Use the Literature Access Workflow when distributing literature. If the access level of the literature is higher than that of the contact, the application generates an access exception record. |
List Access Workflow |
Use the List Access Workflow to generate access exceptions while adding contacts to a list. If the access level of the list is higher than the level of the contact, the application generates an access exception record. |

Use the following procedure to activate the Access workflows. To activate the Access workflows
- Navigate to the Administration - Business Process screen, and then the Workflow Deployment view.
- In the Repository Workflow Processes list, query for the two Access workflow records.
TIP: Query for Name = * Access Workflow.
- Click the Activate button at the top of the list to activate this workflow process.
When activated, the definition is written to the run-time tables and appears in the Active Workflow Processes view.
Reloading Runtime Events
Once you have activated the Access workflows you can reload runtime events. To reload runtime events
- Navigate to the Administration - Runtime Events screen, and then the Events view.
- From the menu, select Reload Runtime Events.
