Converting a Completed Network Order to Assets


As components of the network order are installed, convert the line items representing these components to assets so that you can track these assets for service and change orders.

NOTE:  Before configuration, you can use the Auto Asset button to convert line items to assets. However, during configuration, the Auto Asset button is usually removed, and the process is automated. If the Auto Asset button is available, then use the following procedure.

This task is a step in Process of Ordering New Networks.

To convert the network order to an asset

  1. Navigate to the Sales Order screen, then the List view.
  2. Click the name of the network order that you want to convert.
  3. For each root line item:
    1. Select Complete in the Status field of all subcomponents.
    2. Click Auto Asset.
