Supported TLS Versions and RSA SHA

Siebel implements TLS security for the services and communication paths listed in "Using Transport Layer Security with Siebel CRM". Siebel also implements SHA functions in a variety of places. The secure hashing algorithm supported is based on the certificate implemented and the level of support provided by Siebel.

The level of support for TLS and RSA SHA (including SHA-192, SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-384, and SHA-512) is as follows:

• Web server to Web client supports TLS v1.2, and SHA-2 (but limited by Web client and Web server choice).

• Oracle LDAP integration supports TLS v1.2 and SHA-2.

• MQ and JMS support TLS v1.2 and SHA-2 via the third-party product used (contact the third-party vendor for information about secure implementation).

• EAI Web services support TLS v1.2 and SHA-2.

• Email response IMAP supports TLS v1.2.

• Email response SMTP supports TLS v1.0.

• Email response POP3 supports TLS v1.0.

• Server communication supports TLS v1.0.
