In this situation, Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop prevents the creation of duplicate Oracle CRM On Demand activities. It associates only one Oracle CRM On Demand activity with a single Microsoft Outlook item when more than one user synchronizes that activity. The first user who synchronizes the Microsoft Outlook item creates the Oracle CRM On Demand activity on the Oracle CRM On Demand server. Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop links Microsoft Outlook items with the Oracle CRM On Demand activity for any subsequent user who synchronizes activities.
