Deleting a DNS Configuration

Use this procedure to delete a DNS configuration:

Note:

Before deleting a configuration, note the DNS configuration mode. Deleting a DNS configuration from the NO network element while the system is in GLOBAL mode affects all network elements relying on DNS service.

1. Click Administration > Remote Servers > DNS Configuration.
2. Select the tab representing the desired network element.
3. Click Delete.
   A dialogue confirmation box appears. Click OK to proceed with the delete action.
4. Confirm that the DNS configuration has been deleted by navigating to the desired network element tab and confirming that the No DNS configured message is displayed.

The DNS configuration has been deleted.
