4 Configuration

This section describes configuration functions. Configuration data defines the network topology for the network. The topology determines the network configuration, the layout or shape of the network elements, and their components. It defines the interlinking and the intercommunicating of the components. The network topology represents all server relationships within the application. The server relationships are used by middleware to control data replication and data collection, and define HA relationships.
