Common Graphical User Interface Elements

Common controls allow you to easily navigate through the system once you become familiar with the GUI. The location of the controls remains static for all pages that use the controls. For example, after you become familiar with the location of the display filter, you no longer need to search for the control on subsequent pages because the location is static.
