Oracle Financial Services (OFS) Enterprise Case Management (ECM) Pack is a separately licensed product.

Description

Oracle Financial Services Enterprise Case Management (OFS ECM) Application Pack v8.0.0.0.0 Major Release #1 8.1.1.0.0.

This release of the OFS ECM Application Pack is cumulative of all enhancements and bug fixes performed since the V8.0.0.0.0 release.

The Event Correlation module in Enterprise Case Management (ECM) should be used to automatically correlate events from the FCCM Behavior Detection engine or those ingested from external applications. Alert Management can only be used as read-only for viewing historical alerts. It is not supported for alert disposition. Implementations should use the provided data handler jobs to automatically move Alerts from BDF into ECM and then use event correlation/promote to a case in order to create cases and being the review and investigation. If this updated process is not clear to your implementation team, it is advised that you contact Oracle Partner Network or Oracle Consulting to be trained.

Prerequisites

Release 8.1.1.0.0 of Oracle Financial Services Enterprise Case Management is not fully backward compatible with earlier versions of FCCM applications. Oracle recommends upgrading all FCCM applications from the existing 8.0.x versions to the 8.1.1.0.0 version rather than upgrading only selective application packs to V8.1.1.0.0. Correlation Updates in This Release

The default correlation from this release is BD CORRELATION. The PGX CORRELATION has been removed in OFS ECM 8.1.1.0.0. Any entries or related contents of PGX CORRELATION for Out-Of- Box Case Types are deleted from the KDD_CASEENTITY_MASTER table and updated with the BD Correlation tab in the KDD_CASETYPE_ENTITY_MAP during installation. If PGX Correlation is already mapped to any of the case type, then it must be removed and updated with BD Correlation before Installing OFS ECM 8.1.1.0.0.

Bug ID	Description
31102191	The task with DM_ID = 62 (FCC_EVENT_DETAILS) will fail if DBlink is used to pull the data. To work around this issue, remove the mapping of V_THRESHOLD from the FCC_DM_FIELD_MAPPING execute the following query: DELETE FROM FCC_DM_FIELD_MAPPING a WHERE a.DM_ID = 62 AND a.V_FIELD_NAME ='V_THRESHOLD'.
