CONTROLS
Pre-installation Requirements
The minimum patch set level must be OFS DM Application Pack
v8.0.9.1.4.
Installing this Release
To install this release, follow these steps:
1.
Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for 32353216 under the Patches & Updates tab.
2. Download
the 32353216_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your
OFSAA server in Binary mode.
3. Shut
down all the OFSAAI services.

4. Extract
the contents of the patch archive file using the command:
unzip
-a <name of the file to be extracted>
For example: unzip -a 32353216_GENERIC.zip
Note: The "-a" option is
mandatory to unzip the patch.
If you notice the error message: “unzip: not found [No
such file or directory” before the package is installed, contact your
UNIX administrator.
5. Assign
RWX (755) permissions to the folder by executing
the command:
chmod -R 755 OFS_DM
6. Navigate
to the following directory:
<>/OFS_DM/conf
7. Update
the params.conf file with
the upload model parameter as 0.
8. Navigate
to the following directory:
<>/OFS_DM/bin
9. Execute
the install command:
./install.sh
10. Verify
the patch installation logs in the following directory:
<>/OFS_DM/logs
11. After
successful installation, follow these steps:
a.
Clear the application cache. Navigate to the
following directories depending on the configured web application server and
delete the files:
i.
Tomcat: <Tomcat installation
location>/work/Catalina/localhost/<Application Name>/org/apache/jsp
ii.
WebLogic: <WebLogic installation
location>/domains/<Domain name>/servers/<Server name>/tmp/_WL_user/<Application
name>/<auto generated folder>/jsp_servlet
12. Delete
the existing EAR or WAR file present in the $FIC_HOME/ficweb
directory.
13. Generate
the application EAR or WAR file and redeploy the application onto your
configured web application server.

14. After
the successful installation of the release, restart all OFSAAI services.

Post-installation Steps
The post-installation steps required for this release are as
follows:
1.
Copy the DGS.catalog and DGS.rpd files from the <FIC_HOME>/DGSBI directory to your local machine and
redeploy the DGS.catalog and DGS.rpd files.

New tables are not added in the RPD file to define Opaque views. |
2. Login
to Atomic Schema and execute the script data_origin_agg_migration_script.sql.
3. Change
the Batch Ownership.

changing the batch ownership, see the Changing Batch
Ownership section in the Oracle
Financial Services Data Management Pack Installation Guide 8.0.9.0.0.
4. Execute
the DYNAMIC_KI_BATCH_CREATION batch.
