About Using Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop Lite


Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop Lite is a client-side desktop application that is an extension to Microsoft Outlook. It allows the user to work with Oracle CRM On Demand in a native Microsoft Outlook environment. The data is accessible offline in Microsoft Outlook, and you can synchronize account, contact, appointment, and task records with the Oracle CRM On Demand server when Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop Lite is connected to the Internet.

Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop Lite is a lightweight version of Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop. Many of the features available in Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop are available in Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop Lite. However, there are some differences between Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop and Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop Lite. Table 2 lists the functionality of Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop and Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop Lite.
