Configuring Geocoder Settings

The following table describes how to set up the Geocoder section in the Company Profile page in Oracle CRM On Demand.

NOTE: Some additional fields might be displayed if your company has certain features turned on.

Description

Enable Geocoder

This setting enables Oracle CRM On Demand to use the information in address records to find the corresponding latitude and longitude values for the address using Oracle Spatial. If Oracle CRM On Demand is successful in finding the latitude and longitude, then it populates the latitude and longitude fields in the address records with these values. This setting is deslected by default.

NOTE: This field is read-only. Contact Oracle CRM On Demand Customer Care if you require any changes to this setting.
