Reviewing the Quote Summary Revenue Thresholds

You can view a list of all revenue thresholds for the parent revenue categories associated with the quote. The Revenue Thresholds list shows the overall revenue and profit associated with all functions by parent category, as well as the revenue variance by parent category. The revenue variance can help you to determine how much more revenue you must generate in a particular parent category to meet the required threshold amount for the quote.

If you make changes to the revenue estimates at the category level, as described in Changing Revenue Category Estimates, then these changes are reflected in this view.

The taxes and service charges applied to each event item are also displayed in this list. Revenue and profit are calculated differently according to whether or not taxes and service charges apply. For more information about how taxes and service charges apply to revenue results, see Scenarios for Calculating Taxes, Service Charges, and Revenues.

This task is a step in Process of Reviewing Quote Details.
