Reviewing the Pricing Waterfall for Function Spaces and Sleeping Rooms

The pricing waterfall is a dialog box that you can use to examine how a line item has been priced or how the price has changed since the quote was generated. For example, if a sleeping room originally had a benchmark price of $150 dollars, and a discount amount of $20, then the waterfall shows the original price of the room and also the adjusted price ($130) of the room. This is also true of function spaces and catering products. This pricing waterfall dialog box allows you to view all adjustments made to a line item from the time that the quote was generated.

To view the pricing waterfall for function line items

1. Navigate to the Quotes screen, then the List view.
2. In the Quotes list, query for and select the required quote record.
3. Click the link in the Name field, and then click the Functions tab.
4. Scroll down to the Line Items tab, and select the required function line item.
5. Click the link in the Unit Net Price field.

   The pricing waterfall for the selected line item is displayed.

To view the pricing waterfall for room block line items

1. Navigate to the Quotes screen, then the List view.
2. In the Quotes list, query for and select the required quote record.
3. Click the link in the Quote # field, and then click the Room Blocks tab.
4. Scroll down to the Room Block Line Items tab, and select the required room block line item.
5. Click the link in the Single Price field.

   The pricing waterfall for the selected line item is displayed.
