Generating Quotes for Subopportunities

Subopportunity quotes must be generated before aggregate quotes can be compiled. The subopportunity quotes can be modified after they have been generated.

When you have generated a subopportunity quote, you can provide more details about the quote, for example, revenue estimates, macro estimates, function agenda, room block information, and so on, about these quotes. For more information, see Managing Property-Specific Event Quotes.

This task is a step in Process of Creating Recurring Events.

To generate quotes for subopportunities

1. Navigate to the Opportunities screen, then the List view.
2. In the Opportunities list, query for and select the opportunity.
3. In the Opportunity record, click the link in the Opportunity Name field.
4. Click the Sub Opportunities view tab, and in the Sub Opportunities list, select one or more opportunities for which to generate quotes.
5. Click Create Quote.

   One or more quotes are created, and the Sub Opportunity Quotes view is displayed, showing the property and quote associated with the subopportunity.

   NOTE:  You can add other properties to the list of properties and generate quotes for these properties also.
