Setting Up Text for Taxes and Service Charges

Administrators can set up text that relates to taxes and service charges for a property. This text will appear on Banquet Event Order (BEO) reports. When a user generates a BEO report for the property, this text appears at the end of the report.

This task is a step in Roadmap for Administering Hospitality Reports.

To set up text for taxes and service charges

1. Navigate to the Property Administration screen, then the Properties view.
2. In the Properties list, query for and select the property for which you want to set up text for taxes and service charges.
3. Drill down on the link in the Property Name field.
4. Click the Reporting Preferences view tab.
5. Enter text in the Tax and Service Charge Text field.
