Managing Potential Variations Overview
The Potential Variations page displays a centralised log of all Subcontractor variation requests.
If you are using Potential Variations, you can access it from the Subcontracts menu at the top of any project page. The variation listing is a complete list of all requested and assessed variations on the project, and can be sorted by clicking on the heading.
Note: If you are not using the Potential Variations tool, see the Variation Register instead.
You can filter the listing using the following options:
- Contracts Drop Down: Use the contract drop down to select which contract's variations to display
- Status Radio Buttons: Use to show only open or closed variations on the selected subcontract, or variations requested within a specific billing period
The Subcontractor Data can only be edited by users at the subcontracted organisation; and the Head Contractor data can be updated by anyone at the Head Contractor organisation with the Manage Projects user permission.
