Client Billing
As a Head Contractor, you can submit a pay application to an on-system Client or Owner, or generate claim documents in a manner similar to Subcontractors. When a period is initiated, users with Manage Projects permissions see the action on the Project Home page Draw Home page, and Tasks page to enter billing details.
Tip
Approve Subcontractor progress claims before creating the client claim. Ensure all required Subcontractor claims have been received and approved, then close the period to prevent further claims from being submitted. If you send your progress claim to the Signer before approving a Subcontractor's progress claim, the Subcontractor will be excluded from the period.
See Manage Claims, Close Period and Reviewing your Billing and Proceeding to Signing.
