Authorising Payments

Use the Authorise Payment page to approve payments before disbursing.

Notes:

To authorise a payment:

  1. Navigate to the Authorise Payment Page
  2. From the Authorise Payments page, review the payments.
  3. Optional. From the Comments box, add a comment for your team members.
  4. Optional. From the Edit column, select the Edit or View links that lead to the Edit Payment Status page. The comment is not included in the authorisation email sent to the Disburser.

  5. Optional. Use the links below the Subcontractor's name to view a subcontractor's progress claim, statutory declaration, or uploaded files.
  6. Use the Authorise column to select Subcontractors. If your organisation has enabled the Manage Cheque Payment Settings for your project, you can select cheque payments. Note, based on your project disbursement settings, cheque payments may require authorization.
  7. Choose Save & Send to Disburser to authorise payment.
  8. A Confirm Authorisation dialog shows which payments have been authorised and whether any payments have been unauthorised. Choose Confirm to authorise payments. A Status screen confirms the changes have been saved.

    Once a payment is authorised, the funds can be disbursed. Use the Manage Period Payments page to disburse project funds. Use the Enterprise Wide Disbursement page to manage disbursements across multiple projects. See Manage Period Payments and Enterprise Wide Disbursement.

    Notes:

    • Subcontractors can be unauthorised up until payment is disbursed.
    • f your organisation has enabled the Manage Cheque Payment Settings for your project, you will see a row for Cheque payments amounts.
    • Subcontractors must be eligible and free from legal document holds and statutory declarations holds to receive payment.
