Statutory Declaration Settings
Allow subcontractor to edit statutory declaration effective date
Selected by default, this setting allows Subcontractors to edit the statutory declaration effective date prior to signing.
Subcontractors may add statutory declaration optional text
Selected by default, this setting allows Subcontractors to add statutory declaration optional text prior to signing.
Allow subcontractor to add contractor affidavit text
Selected by default, this setting allows Subcontractors to add Contractor Affidavit optional text prior to signing.
Note: Any statutory declarations that are altered will display as Modified on the Manage statutory declarations page.
Owner Approval Disables the HC ability to Reject tick box
Choose this setting to prevent the Head Contractor from rejecting a period that the Owner has approved. This setting is often used with Linked Projects.
Caution: Do not use this setting if the Owner is not on-system. Contact your Textura implementation team if you think you need to use this setting.
Enable collection of zero dollar statutory declarations tick box
Choose this setting if the system should automatically collect Zero Dollar statutory declarations from all Subcontractor and Sub-Tier participants until the final statutory declaration is signed. Contact your Textura implementation team if you think you need to use this setting.
Require Contracts and Variations be Imported
This setting is displayed only if the organisation setting has been enabled by your Textura Administrator. When this setting is enabled, no manual creation of contracts and variations are permitted. The default setting is enabled.
Subcontractor statutory declaration Signature Timing
Determine when Subcontractor signatures are requested for statutory declarations.
- With Progress claim: statutory declaration signatures are requested during the billing process.
- When Requested: statutory declaration signatures are requested prior to disbursement.
Subcontractor statutory declaration Release Timing
The Subcontractor statutory declaration Release Timing identifies when Subcontractor statutory declarations are released to the Head Contractor.
Caution: This field can only be edited by a Textura Administrator under stringent conditions. Contact your Textura implementation team if you think you need to change this setting.
- With Disbursement: This setting releases the statutory declaration three days after payment is issued.
- When Signed: This setting releases the statutory declaration with signatures as soon as it is signed by the Subcontractor.
HC statutory declaration Release Timing identifies when Head Contractor statutory declarations are released to an on-system Owner.
- With Disbursement: This setting releases the statutory declaration three days after payment is issued.
- When Signed: This setting releases the project statutory declaration with signatures as soon as it is signed by the Head Contractor.
HC Self-performed Work statutory declaration
This setting identifies how many statutory declarations are created for self-performed work.
- None: Selected by default, this setting creates one Head Contractor project statutory declaration.
- Multiple: Choose this setting to create statutory declarations for each self-performed line item.
- One: Choose this setting to create a statutory declaration with a total of all self-performed line items in addition to the Head Contractor project statutory declaration.
Enabled subcontractors to upload
This setting allows Subcontractors and their Sub-Tiers to upload statutory declaration documents for Manual or statutory declaration Only Sub-Tier organisations. When enabled, Subcontractors and their Sub-Tiers see Upload actions on the Manage statutory declarations page.This tick box is selected by default.
